SMS Opt-In

This page explains how people agree to receive text messages from SentryView Customer Notifications, a program run by Sentry View, LLC. We only text people who asked us to. Our texts cover their inquiry or appointment: call follow-ups, appointment confirmations and reminders, and answers to their questions. We never send marketing texts, and consent to texts is never required to buy anything.

Way 1: Our website contact form

At https://sentryview.io/#contact, a visitor fills in their name, email, phone number and message. Under the form there is an optional checkbox that starts unchecked. We only text the visitor if they tick the box and then submit the form. When they do, we record the time of consent with their request.

Exact checkbox text:

Text me about my request (optional). By checking this box, you agree to receive text messages from SentryView about your inquiry and appointments. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. See our Privacy Policy and SMS Terms.

Way 2: Spoken consent on a phone call

People who call our business number (+1 442-242-6321) reach our AI phone assistant. It opens every call by saying it's an AI and that the call is transcribed. Before it sends any text, it asks the caller this exact question:

"Would you like me to text you a summary and your appointment details? Message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP to opt out."

We only text the caller if they clearly say yes. We send it only to the number they're calling from. The question and their answer are saved in the call transcript, with the date and time, as our record of consent. If the caller says no or doesn't answer, no text is sent.

First message

Every first text says who it's from and includes the opt-out details. Example:

SentryView Customer Notifications: Thanks for calling! Your free audit call is booked for Tue Oct 6 at 10:00 AM PT; the invite is in your email. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.
